 Dear Diary,

Post grandfather's death we had a burial for him. It was sad but I knew that I had to get home to my mother. Once I had left and finally got home to Philadelphia. I went back to the coffee house which ended up in me meeting with Eliza who hugged the air out of me but then she told me that mother was gone she had gone over to the Ludington's to be with me.

This news shocked me but I was also glad that she was alive. A few days passed and both me and Eliza started to help the sick. The first being Joseph's sons and Nell who we ended up taking care of every so often.

After a while, the fever was finally over with it was finally winter. Another shock was one day, a carriage came and someone stepped out that someone was mother.  Once she spotted me she ran up to me and hugged the lights out of me just as Eliza did. We have finally been reunited, once again

The reason I chose this book is that when I looked at the back for the summary it was the one that piqued my interest the most. Also, another reason this book piqued my interest is because of the cover it just gave me this werid feeling that I liked.
